According to Miller, such positions hold “about a 1 percent approval rating in the state of Texas.” Miller also criticized Democratic leadership, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, for not publicly condemning candidates associated with online commentator Hasan Piker over past controversial remarks regarding the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Miller contrasted the policy agenda of the Trump administration with progressive proposals, arguing that enacting such policies would “bring America to its knees” and undo foundational national achievements. He credited President Donald Trump with securing border enforcement, overseeing drops in violent crime rates, and delivering targeted tax relief proposals.
