Why We Partnered

Hyperlocal Loop is a privately-owned local news venture from OBBM Network TV and Spreely Media. We bring residents the stories that shape their daily lives — local news, civic events, school board votes, business spotlights, weather, and the cultural happenings that make a place feel like home.
The Media Liberty Alliance Foundation (MLAF) is the not-for-profit engine that helps citizen-led local media actually get off the ground. MLAF underwrites the things grassroots community media usually cannot afford on their own — launch infrastructure, equipment, mentorship, training, and distribution. That is what makes our continued expansion into new cities possible.
