A tragic accident occurred at a TARC bus stop in Shively last month, resulting in the loss of two lives. According to police, Kevin Moore ran a red light and collided with another vehicle at Dixie Highway and Rockford Lane. Moore then drove onto the sidewalk and into the bus stop, where several people were waiting.
Danielle Cordes, 43, died at the scene, while Jasmine Hereford was taken to the hospital and succumbed to her injuries two days later. Three other individuals were injured in the crash. Moore has been charged with two counts of murder, DUI, and several other offenses.
WLKY obtained the 911 calls from the day of the crash, which reveal the chaos and panic that ensued. One caller reported, ‘He took the bus stop. There was someone at the bus stop. They ran over, so they ran over.’ Another caller stated, ‘There’s an accident, it’s really bad. It’s really bad. Somebody’s got to get here.’ Moore’s case is scheduled to go before a grand jury next month.
