Starting in the 2026 NFL season, Nike and the league are expanding the popular “Nike x NFL Rivalries” uniform program. Eight clubs – the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions – will debut new, division‑themed jerseys during home games against their rivals.
Designs celebrate community and tradition
According to Taryn Hutt, vice president of club marketing for the NFL, the program “captures the spirit and tradition of football’s greatest divisional rivalries” while highlighting the passionate communities that support each team. The uniforms will be sold through Fanatics, the league’s official merchandise partner, and will remain in each team’s rotation for three years.
Each jersey incorporates local symbols and color palettes. The Indianapolis Colts’ uniform adds enhanced stripes, high‑shine finishes and iron‑work details that echo the team’s classic look. The Green Bay Packers’ design weaves stock‑certificate motifs into the numbers and sleeves, reflecting the franchise’s unique fan‑ownership model.
The Detroit Lions’ uniform pairs Honolulu blue with carbon‑fiber‑inspired numbers, nodding to the city’s automotive and racing heritage. The Jacksonville Jaguars blend coastal culture with urban swagger, featuring jaguar‑print accents and chrome details. The Tennessee Titans combine their Two‑Tone Blue heritage with Nashville’s music scene, using neon‑inspired numbers and guitar‑style striping.
Houston’s all‑white “iced out” uniform celebrates H‑Town’s custom‑car culture with metallic finishes and street‑tile patterns. Minnesota’s Vikings jersey draws on Viking history, using deep purple, ivory and knot‑inspired details. Chicago’s Bears uniform updates the classic midnight palette with burnt orange accents and references to the Chicago flag and George Halas.
Game‑day rollout
The first appearances will be during division matchups. The Indianapolis Colts will wear their new design in Week 3 against the Texans on September 27. The Packers face the Bears in Week 5, the Lions meet the Vikings in Week 8, and the Texans will clash with the Colts again in Week 11. The full schedule includes each team’s debut date and time.
Fans can purchase the new jerseys beginning September 1, with the merchandise expected to be a top seller given the program’s success last year, which became Fanatics’ best‑selling release to date.
Community tie‑ins
Alongside the jersey launch, visual campaigns will feature current players such as Jameson Williams (Lions), Nico Collins (Texans) and Jordan Love (Packers), as well as hometown talent like rappers Big Sean, Slim Thug and Bun B, and country singers Gowa Gibbs and Thomas Edwards. The campaigns aim to deepen the connection between the teams and the neighborhoods they represent.
The Rivalries uniforms join each club’s existing alternate kits and will be supplemented by additional designs in the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
