Orlando’s Most Theatrical Dining Room Belongs to the Capa Steakhouse Atop the Four Seasons

There is a moment, somewhere between the first sip of a perfectly chilled Spanish white wine and the arrival of a plate of Ibérico ham sliced thin as paper, when Orlando stops feeling like a theme park city and starts feeling like somewhere genuinely sophisticated. That moment, for me, happens every time I step onto the rooftop of Capa Steakhouse at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort.

Perched on the twenty-third floor of the resort’s tower in Golden Oak — the luxury residential community tucked inside Walt Disney World property — Capa is one of those restaurants that rewards the extra effort required to find it. You don’t stumble upon it. You make a reservation, you dress up just a little, and you go with intention. And every time, it delivers.

The design alone is worth the trip. The interiors draw inspiration from the bullrings of Seville, with curved wooden archways, deep jewel tones, and warm amber lighting that makes everyone at the table look like they’re starring in a film. But the real showstopper is outside. The open-air terrace wraps around the tower, and on clear nights — which in Orlando means most nights — you have an unobstructed panoramic view that stretches across the Disney resort grounds. Fireworks from the parks bloom in the distance on a near-nightly schedule, and watching them silently from a rooftop table while sharing a 32-ounce dry-aged tomahawk ribeye is an experience that is genuinely difficult to put into words.

The menu leans into a Spanish steakhouse identity with real confidence. Executive chefs have built something that feels both indulgent and considered. Start with the roasted bone marrow or the wood-fired octopus — tender, kissed with char, and plated with a brightness that lifts the richness. Steaks are sourced with care and cooked over an open wood-burning grill that imparts a subtle smokiness you simply cannot replicate at home. The Wagyu selections are exceptional, but even the more approachable prime cuts are cooked with precision and finished with restraint.

The wine list is intelligently curated with a strong lean toward Spanish producers — Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Priorat — alongside a well-chosen international selection. The sommelier team is knowledgeable without being intimidating, which is exactly the right balance.

Service throughout is warm and unhurried, the kind that makes a two-hour dinner feel like a gift rather than an indulgence. Reservations fill up quickly, especially on weekends when the fireworks viewing makes every table feel like a front-row seat. Book at least two weeks out, request a terrace table when you call, and arrive early enough to have a cocktail at the bar before your table is ready.

Capa is not an every-Tuesday kind of place, and it does not try to be. It is a celebration dinner, a date night that actually delivers, a meal you will describe to people for months afterward. In a city full of extraordinary experiences, this rooftop restaurant manages to feel like one of the most genuinely special.
