H-E-B, a popular grocery store chain, is upgrading several of its locations in North Texas. The Mansfield H-E-B store, located at 1670 E. Broad St, is undergoing a minor remodel of about 800 feet of its 128,000-square-foot store. The $470,000 project is expected to be completed by October.
Other Remodels in the Area
In addition to the Mansfield location, H-E-B is also remodeling its stores in Cleburne and Fort Worth. The Cleburne store, located at 600 W. Henderson St, will undergo a $633,610 remodel of 540 square feet, while the Fort Worth store, located at 3451 Heritage Trace Parkway, will see a $364,979 remodel of 748 square feet.
These remodels are part of H-E-B’s Fresh Initiative, which aims to upgrade dozens of stores across the state with new equipment to support hot grab-and-go food items. The company is also expanding its supply chain operations in east San Antonio, with plans to invest $700 million in a state-of-the-art bakery, refrigerated warehouse, transportation building, and the expansion of an existing manufacturing facility.
