The Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership was chosen by Site Selection Magazine for the Mac Conway Award for Excellence in Economic Development, the most prestigious award in the field. This is the second consecutive year the partnership has received the award.

Background

The Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership was formed in April 2023 as a tax-exempt organization to lead business recruitment and attraction for the city. Since its formation, the partnership has secured several economic development projects in Fort Worth.

Mayor Mattie Parker said, “Fort Worth’s momentum is undeniable, and the Fort Worth EDP is a driving force behind it.” Robert Allen, president and CEO of the partnership, added, “We are happy to receive this award as it recognizes the extraordinary economic growth our city is experiencing.”
