Roswell, Ga. – The Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has led environmental education, conservation and native‑plant and wildlife rehabilitation for five decades, wrapped its 50th‑anniversary celebration with a brand‑refresh unveiling.
Anniversary events draw nearly 1,500 visitors
Over three days last month, CNC welcomed new and returning guests to its 127‑acre campus. Approximately 1,500 people attended the festivities, underscoring the center’s lasting impact on the local and regional community.
New logo, website and tagline introduced
At the centerpiece Community Celebration, CNC revealed a new visual identity created in partnership with the Golden Lasso Agency. The refreshed logo, updated website and streamlined messaging are intended to modernize the center’s outreach while staying true to its founding purpose of connecting people with nature.
“Fifty years ago, a small group of volunteers believed Roswell needed a place where people could fall in love with nature,” said Natasha Rice, CNC’s president and CEO. “Today that belief has grown into 127 acres and five decades of memories for this community.”
Rice added that the new branding reflects CNC’s evolution and its commitment to future growth. The tagline “Discovery Flows Here” was selected to capture the feeling of exploration visitors experience on the grounds, whether spotting a flash of movement in the river or learning a new fact from a staff member.
Mission statement refreshed to highlight the river
The center also updated its mission statement to read, “Inspiring lifelong connections with nature through the Chattahoochee River.” By placing the river front and center, CNC emphasizes the waterway’s ecological importance to the metro Atlanta region and reaffirms its role in stewardship education.
“Our mission hasn’t changed in 50 years, but our story has continued to grow,” Rice said. “This refreshed branding represents the impact we are making today and the future we envision for our organization.”
Looking ahead
The new branding will serve as a revitalized marketing strategy aimed at increasing visitation, deepening community engagement and expanding educational programs. CNC continues to welcome families, school groups and volunteers who seek hands‑on experiences with native habitats, wildlife rehabilitation and conservation projects.
