Walk Against Hunger – Sept. 19
Backpack Friends, a nonprofit that serves Pflugerville ISD, Round Rock ISD and surrounding districts, will host a 5K hunger walk at Pfluger Park (515 City Park Road, Pflugerville). Every $5 raised feeds an at‑risk child in the community for an entire weekend. Registration runs $25‑$60.
Venture Pfest – Sept. 26 to Oct. 1
The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation presents Venture Pfest, a six‑day series of panels, workshops and networking sessions designed to help local entrepreneurs grow. The first two days focus on hands‑on workshops, followed by additional discussions at various locations throughout Pflugerville. Admission is free.
Tiny Texan Exchange Costume Swap – Oct. 3
The children’s clothing store Tiny Texan Exchange in Hutto (3333 CR 119, Ste. 24) invites families to bring clean, gently used costumes for a free swap. Drop‑offs run from Sept. 3 to Oct. 2; each accepted costume earns a swap ticket for use on Oct. 3, 10:30 a.m.‑5 p.m.
National Night Out – Oct. 6
Neighborhoods across Pflugerville and Hutto will host National Night Out, an annual event that strengthens partnerships between police and residents to make neighborhoods safer. The event runs 5 p.m.‑9 p.m. and registration is free.
Survive. Thrive. Prevent. 5K – Oct. 10
Supporting Hope Alliance, a resource center and emergency shelter, this 5K race starts at Fritz Park (400 Park St., Hutto) at 9 a.m. Registration fees range from $17.50 to $40.
Olde Tyme Days – Oct. 10
The 41st annual Olde Tyme Days festival brings together residents, visitors, local businesses and organizations for a day of entertainment, shopping, food and celebration. Details on specific activities and locations will be announced closer to the date.
