A large wildfire is burning west of Anadarko, Oklahoma, prompting evacuations and destroying structures. Anadarko city officials reported that residents have been evacuated due to the fire.
Evacuations and Structure Destruction
Multiple agencies are working to put out the fire, which has destroyed four structures. Two homes were saved, and crews are working to protect the other two homes in the direct path of the fire. Homes north of Park and Caddo roads have been evacuated.
Officials are waiting on aircraft to support fire suppression efforts.
