The Iowa State Fair has introduced four new food stands, offering a range of flavors and cuisines for visitors to enjoy. Among the new vendors are Big Cup, a drink stand serving specialty drinks, and the Sleepy Bison Grill, which offers bison burgers raised on a Minnesota farm.
New Flavors at the Fair
The Kama’aina Grill is bringing traditional Hawaiian barbecue to the fair, with dishes such as huli chicken, poké, pork, and steak. The Minneapple Pie stand is serving deep-fried apple pies with two scoops of ice cream, a tribute to the owner’s father, a Greek immigrant who became a baker.
Each vendor brings a unique story and flavor to the fairgrounds, with Big Cup located on Shiver’s Plaza next to JR’s Southpork Ranch, and the Sleepy Bison Grill, Kama’aina Grill, and Minneapple Pie stands located between the Bill Riley Stage and the Varied Industries Building.
