Schimpff’s Confectionery, a family-owned business, has been named the Best Candy Store in America by USA Today for the second year in a row.

The business was recognized for its iconic hard candy, Cinnamon Red Hots, and its caramel-covered marshmallow called Modjeskas. Schimpff’s was also praised for its candy museum, which highlights the history of the business dating back to the mid-1800s.

Steve Shepherd, the fifth generation of the Schimpff’s family to run the business, expressed gratitude to the public for voting for Schimpff’s again. “We’re honored by the support, and we share this victory with Jeffersonville, and all of our devoted customers, friends, and family across the world,” he said.
