Nearly 3,000 high schoolers received their diplomas in the Salem-Keizer School District, marking a significant milestone in their lives. Among them are eight exceptional seniors, each with their unique story of perseverance and achievement.
Meet the Graduates
Yaradicxa ‘Yara’ Ramos Adame, from North Salem High School, is set to become Pentacle Theatre’s youngest-ever choreographer. Isaac Reynolds, a graduating senior from McKay High School, is a talented musician and leader. Isabella Morrow, from Sprague High School, has made a lasting impact as student body president. Allyssa Christensen, from McNary High School, has organized blood drives and brought veterans to her school. Vanessa Duarte Ignacio, from the Career Technical Education Center, plans to open her own salon while working as a sheriff’s deputy. Kiara Bailey, from Roberts High School, has broken through social divisions and helped her peers get involved in volunteer work. Sawyer Nelson, from South Salem High School, is a record-breaking baseball player headed to Los Angeles. Elvis Muthee, from West Salem High School, has overcome challenges to achieve his goals.
