The winning photo was taken at the Harbor in Rockwall during a 4-H Photography Project walk and learn meeting.
Texas 4-H Roundup
The Texas 4-H Roundup is the pinnacle event of the state 4-H program, attended by over 1000 4-H members from across the state. The event consists of approximately 50 competitive events, most of which require individual or team qualification at the county and district level to compete. Rheyanna qualified in the County 4-H Roundup contest held earlier this spring.
While in College Station, Rheyanna also earned the title of Texas 4-H Photography Ambassador. As a state-level ambassador, Rheyanna will have opportunities to grow in the photography project through community service, workshops, training sessions, field trips, and leadership/citizenship activities.
Rheyanna has been spotted taking pictures at various events in Rockwall County, including the 2025 Gone Country Fundraise for Meals on Wheels, the 2026 NTMWD Water Summit at the County Courthouse, and the 2026 Rockwall Youth Fair. The Rockwall County 4-H Photography project will resume in September when the new 4-H year kicks off.
