Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers recently discovered a replica anti-tank mine in a passenger’s carry-on bag at Dayton International Airport in Ohio.

The item was found during routine security screening on June 3. Officials described the device as a prohibited military-style training aid. While the replica mine was not considered an active explosive, TSA regulations prohibit such items from being carried through airport security checkpoints.

Security officers identified the object during the screening process and prevented it from entering the secure area of the airport.
