Drivers in Pasco County should prepare for overnight detours starting Thursday evening, July 30. Road crews will shut down the median on State Road 52, just east of I-75, between 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 5:30 a.m. Friday, July 31, weather permitting.
The temporary closure will block two key turns connecting SR 52 and northbound I-75. Detours will redirect traffic through a nearby intersection.
Drivers exiting northbound I-75 who want to go west on SR 52 will need to turn right onto eastbound SR 52 instead, make a U-turn at the traffic light at Tradeway Boulevard/Pasco Road, and continue west.
Eastbound drivers on SR 52 looking to enter northbound I-75 will be instructed to drive past the entrance ramp, make a U-turn at the Tradeway Boulevard/Pasco Road signal, and enter the northbound I-75 ramp from westbound SR 52.
