Water restrictions in the town of Fuquay-Varina will lift on August 3. Conservation efforts began on April 24, but due to recent rainfall, water usage limits will be removed on Monday.
Restrictions limiting washing outdoor areas, vehicles and filling pools will be lifted. However, annual conservation measures remain in effect.
Those who violate stage one water restrictions before August 3 can still be fined.
