The Oklahoma City Thunder now know when they’ll play their Emirates NBA Cup pool games during the upcoming season. The Thunder fell just short of winning an NBA Cup title in 2024 but took home the bigger prize later that season when they won the 2025 NBA Finals.

NBA Cup Format

The NBA will continue its in-season tournament for the fourth straight year, featuring a total of 60 group play games before a single-elimination tournament decides an NBA Cup champion. Each team will play four designated group play games, and the best team from each of the six groups will automatically advance.

The Thunder were drawn into the West B group that also features the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Los Angeles Clippers, the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Memphis Grizzlies.

Thunder’s NBA Cup Group Play Schedule

The Thunder will play four group play games and will have a chance to advance to the NBA Cup tournament if they finish either first or second in West B play. Oklahoma City will play its first two group games on the road before hosting the last two.

The group play games will be on: at Memphis Grizzlies, 7 p.m. on Nov. 7, at Los Angeles Clippers, 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 7 p.m. on Nov. 20, and vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 (ESPN).
