Hoover City Schools has appointed three new principals for the upcoming academic year. Emily Dunleavy, Leah Colley, and Sherita Williams will lead Brock’s Gap Intermediate School, Deer Valley Elementary School, and Riverchase Elementary School, respectively.
Meet the New Principals
Sherita Williams, the new principal of Riverchase Elementary, has over 30 years of experience in education. She previously worked as an assistant principal at Greystone Elementary School and has been recognized as the Alabama NAESP National Outstanding Assistant Principal District IV Nominee.
Emily Dunleavy, the new principal of Brock’s Gap Intermediate, has 15 years of experience in education. She previously served as an assistant principal at the same school and was instrumental in helping grow a collaborative school environment.
Leah Colley, the new principal of Deer Valley Elementary, has 21 years of experience in education. She previously worked as an assistant principal at Shades Mountain Elementary School and has been part of the leadership team that helped the school earn National Blue Ribbon recognition.
