Tammy Barton, a Winter Haven resident, has been located and is safe, according to the Winter Haven Police Department.
Originally, the Winter Haven Police had turned to the community for assistance in locating Barton, who disappeared earlier in the evening. Authorities stated that Barton was last seen at approximately 6 p.m. on Hogan Lane, located within the Lake Ashton neighborhood.
Barton was described as wearing a white shirt with green trim paired with green shorts. Law enforcement officials had asked residents in the Lake Ashton area to check their surroundings and security footage.
