Man Pleads Guilty, Sentenced to 12 Years for Slashing 8-Year-Old at Restaurant

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man accused of cutting the neck of an 8-year-old girl has been sentenced to more than a decade behind bars.

Nicholas San Souci pleaded guilty Friday to multiple counts of child abuse.

In 2025, he entered Saggios near UNM and attacked the child with a broken beer bottle, resulting in a wound that required 19 stitches.

San Souci was handed a 12-year prison term.
