A man died Thursday night after being hit by a car on Gardiner Lane in Louisville, Kentucky. According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), the incident occurred around 10:43 p.m. near Newburg Road.
Officers arrived at the scene and provided aid to the victim, who was then taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The LMPD’s Traffic Unit is currently investigating the collision. The pedestrian’s name has not been released.
