A brush fire broke out in Lancaster, California, on Saturday evening, prompting evacuation warnings for the area. The “Juno Fire” was reported near Lancaster Road and Munz Ranch Road at about 5:20 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. So far, the blaze has scorched 149 acres.
This comes as crews are continuing to make good progress on another fire that prompted evacuation orders in the Antelope Valley. The “Summit Fire” sparked Friday afternoon and has since burned around 2,700 acres near Llano.
