Kentucky Rep. Morgan McGarvey was named Democratic MVP in the annual Congressional baseball game in Washington, D.C. McGarvey had a productive night, going 4 for 4 at the plate, with a ground rule double in the bottom of the fourth.
Despite his stellar night at the plate, the Republicans won 11-2. This marks the sixth year in a row the Republicans have won the game. Republicans lead the series all-time 48-42.
