Nat Ford, CEO of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, will be stepping down from his position, according to a news release from JTA. Ford, who has been with JTA for 13 years, will remain with the authority until January 8. The JTA board will discuss the selection of the authority’s next CEO at a meeting on July 29.
Ford expressed his confidence in the leadership team’s ability to continue advancing the organization’s mission. He stated, “The JTA is operationally strong and well-positioned for the future. I have full confidence in the leadership team’s ability to continue advancing our mission. It has been the greatest professional honor of my career to serve this organization, this city, and this region.”
