The Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) has announced its new season of programming, which includes over 500 programs from September to December.
Program Offerings
These programs can be found online at JCPRD.com and registrations are now being taken. The programs range from arts and crafts to sports to nature activities and include leagues, classes, homeschool offerings, seminars, workshops, and trips.
Some highlights of the new season include 50 Plus Travel programs, which feature trips to destinations such as Iceland, Hawaii, and the Adriatic Coast. JCPRD also continues to offer virtual programs, including youth computer-related offerings and 50 Plus offerings, which include gardening, exercise, and programs about Alzheimer’s and dementia.
With the arrival of cooler temperatures, fall and winter are also great times to explore JCPRD’s trails and parks.
