Former Iowa State University football coach Jim Walden has died. Walden, who coached the Cyclones from 1987-1994, died Thursday at the age of 88, the university announced.
He had a record of 28-57-3 overall in his 8 seasons at Iowa State, which followed 9 seasons at Washington State, where he led the Cougars to a 44-52-4 record.
