The primary election will take place on August 18, with deadlines for voter registration and vote-by-mail ballots on July 20 and August 6, respectively. The general election is scheduled for November 3, with voter registration and vote-by-mail deadlines on October 5 and October 22.
Voters can register online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov or through their local tax collector’s office. They can also submit voter registration information when renewing their driver’s license or ID card.
To be eligible to vote, individuals must be U.S. citizens, legal Florida residents, and at least 18 years old. They must also not have been adjudicated mentally incapacitated or convicted of a felony without having their voting rights restored.
