On Thursday, July 16, the American Indian Interpretive Ranger Program at Medicine Wheel and Fort Phil Kearny hosted an evening of Crow culture. Sisters Elannah and Emaurice, enrolled members of the Crow tribe, presented a display of traditional Crow regalia and performed two dances.
Crow Cultural Exchange
Emerice Nelena Flatt, a senior at the University of Montana majoring in public health with a minor in Native American Studies, was introduced as one of the program’s participants. Her hobbies include dancing, powwows, beading, sewing, painting, drawing, jewelry making, and creating regalia and traditional clothing.
