A man died after his Toyota Tacoma left a gravel road, struck a stump, and rolled down an embankment in Yacolt Burn State Forest. Responding units located a deceased adult male near the vehicle. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit conducted the investigation. Preliminary findings indicate the vehicle was traveling westbound on the L1500 road when it left the gravel roadway, struck a stump, and rolled down an embankment. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
