A bald eagle was seen on video struggling in some water in Big Bear, and animal advocates believe it’s Jackie, who has been missing from her nest.
LA County Parks posted on social media Sunday, saying an eagle was found at Dana Point Park, on the northwest side of the lake. That’s opposite from Jackie’s nest that she shares with her mate Shadow.
The Friends of Big Bear Valley nonprofit says after many tips, it’s apparent the eagle is likely Jackie. They say she is getting the care she needs and thanked the San Dimas Raptor Rescue Team for the help.
