The Clark County Commission on Aging is now accepting nominations for its 7th annual Silver Citizen Award. This award recognizes the valuable contributions older adults make to the community through volunteer service, faith-based initiatives, athletics, and other endeavors.
Eligibility and Nomination Process
Residents 60 or older who have served their community are eligible for the award. Nominations must be received by 5 pm on Monday, August 31st, 2026. Award criteria and nomination forms can be found on the Clark County website.
The Commission on Aging, supported by the Clark County Council, is a nine-member volunteer group that implements the county’s Aging Readiness Plan and provides leadership addressing the needs of aging community members.
