The 2026 edition of the Clark County Fair officially opens at 10am on Friday, August 7th. The carnival, with thrill rides and tamer rides, opens at noon. Vendors, artists, and creators will be there for ten days. The animals, including Curly the Camel, will also be present.
Friday’s Highlights
On opening day, there will be a parade down the Midway at 2 p.m., showcasing some of the best features of the parade, including cars, horses, magicians, and more. Headlining opening night will be the start of the concert series, featuring Midland at 7 p.m. Also on Friday night, there will be the Celebration of Horses, a one-of-a-kind equestrian showcase at the Dr. Jack Giesy Arena, starting at 7 p.m.
