Kendra Ziler, Director of Marketing for the Ford Wyoming Center, shared her excitement about the upcoming Independence Day 250 Celebration on July 4. The event will feature live music, family-friendly activities, vendors, food trucks, and a fireworks show.
Upcoming Events
Ziler encouraged attendees to arrive early and make a day of it, with gates opening at 4:00 pm. She also recommended bringing blankets, chairs, sunscreen, and insect repellent. The event will have a variety of local food vendors, and attendees are welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in coolers.
Ziler also mentioned two other upcoming events in the community that she is excited about: the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo parade on July 7th and a night at Casper Speedway this summer.
Community Spirit
Ziler believes that events like these contribute to the unique spirit and sense of community in Casper. She said that events are opportunities for connection, making new friends, and making memories, and that Casper is fortunate to have many organizations and volunteers creating opportunities for the community to gather.
