American cyclist Sepp Kuss had a close call during the Tour de France when he crashed into a low concrete barrier and nearly went over a cliff.
Close Call
The incident occurred during Stage 20 of the race, which took place on mountainous roads. Kuss was leading the stage when he understeered and crashed into the barrier. Fortunately, a catch fence was in place, preventing him from going over the cliff.
Kuss was able to walk away from the crash, but it was his second crash of the day and it cost him the lead. He finished the stage in third place.
