The Democratic Republic of Congo has seen a rise in confirmed Ebola cases, with 933 cases and 245 deaths reported, according to the country’s health minister, Samuel Roger Kamba.

Kamba announced the update while speaking to reporters in Ituri province, where the first cases of the ongoing outbreak were reported. He also mentioned that 80 recovered patients had been discharged from Ebola treatment centers.
