Rockwall is preparing to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary of independence with a full day of family-friendly activities on the 4th of July. The celebration will begin with a patriotic parade at 11 AM, starting at The Rockwall County Library and concluding at Dobbs Elementary.
Evening Activities
In the evening, Harry Myers Park will host a variety of activities, including parachute jumpers at 6:45 PM, free live music by the Diamond West Band at 7 PM, and a fireworks display at dusk. Food trucks will be available from 5 PM to 9:30 PM. Free shuttles will be provided from off-site parking locations to Harry Myers Park from 3 PM to 12 AM.
Off-site parking locations include The Center, Wilkerson Sanders Football Stadium, and Rockwall High School. The city invites the community to come together and celebrate the nation’s independence.
