Ankeny police are searching for a missing 9-year-old girl. Lyric Parker was reported missing on Monday after she wandered from her home in the 1000 block of Applewood Street.

Lyric has blonde, curly hair and was wearing a dark pink shirt, according to police. A photo of Lyric was not made available.

Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Lyric. If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, you are asked to contact Ankeny police.
