The Woodlands is gearing up for a fun-filled Fourth of July weekend with several events planned for families, music lovers, and more. The Firecracker 5K run will take place on July 2 at 7 p.m. at The Woodlands Waterway, with awards for overall male and female runners, as well as first, second, and third place in both male and female age groups.

Riva Row Boat House invites families to take a trip down The Woodlands Waterway on July 3 at 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. using swan-shaped pedal boats. The Red, Hot & Blue Festival will be held on July 4 from 6-10 p.m., featuring live music, food, and family-friendly activities across multiple locations. A firework display will close out the night for attendees.
The 50th Annual South County Fourth of July Parade will take place on July 4 at 9 a.m., featuring floats, fire engines, and marching bands. The parade will weave through The Woodlands area, crossing through Market Street and including areas near Town Green Park.
Additionally, attendees can celebrate the Fourth of July with a splash at a recreational pool event featuring games, refreshments, and swimming on July 4 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Village pools in The Woodlands.
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion will present a day filled with music from Willie Nelson, Wilco, Sheryl Crow, and more on July 5, starting at 2 p.m.
