The Fort Bend Care Center is set to break ground on a new education and community center in August. The project will include classrooms, community spaces, and a wing for free child care for low-income families, according to Fort Bend Care Center President Mei Wong.
Project Details
The new construction will provide a dedicated building for the center’s educational and community resources, such as GED preparation and citizenship classes. The project is being funded by community donations, with a goal of $5.6 million.
