The cherished Dix Park sunflower field in Raleigh is on track to be in full bloom in July. This year, visitors may notice more of the golden petals around the park.
Expansion of Sunflowers and Wildflowers
A Facebook post noted that sunflowers and wildflowers have been planted in three other areas of the park in addition to the sunflower field. A virtual map is available to view all of the plantings.
The sunflower field along Umstead Drive is free to visit each day from dawn until dusk.
