The YMCA of Greater Montgomery is helping families balance work schedules with school hours through its Before & After School Program. This program provides a safe and structured environment for students outside of regular school hours.
Program Details
The program emphasizes homework assistance, healthy activities, character development, and opportunities for students to have fun in a positive environment. All staff members are certified in CPR and first aid and receive training in child development and behavior guidance.
The program operates throughout the school year, including early dismissal days and select school breaks. Before-school care typically begins at 6:30 a.m., while after-school care is available until 6 p.m. Families can enroll at the Goodtimes Center, Cleveland Avenue YMCA, and Grandview YMCA.
Registration is available in-person at any YMCA branch or online at ymcamontgomery.org.
