The Wyoming International Film Festival has announced that it is now accepting applications for the 2026 Wyoming Filmmaker Grant. This initiative is designed to support filmmakers across Wyoming as they bring their stories to screen.

The grant is open to Wyoming filmmakers of all ages and experience levels, and it is intended to help artists at every stage of their filmmaking journey. Funding may be used during pre-production, production, or post-production and is designed to give recipients the flexibility to apply the support where it is needed most.

The program welcomes both narrative and documentary-type projects, reflecting the diverse voices and stories emerging from communities throughout the state.

“Financing a film is the hardest part of the process,” said Rudi Womack, Executive Director of the Wyoming International Film Festival. “It’s our aim to remove that barrier for Wyoming filmmakers.”

Womack said that the grant represents a long-term investment in Wyoming’s creative community.
