Thousands of fans attended Ye’s concert at the Alamodome in San Antonio on Saturday night, despite weeks of controversy surrounding his past antisemitic comments. Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has since apologized for those remarks.

Some fans told KSAT that their attendance did not indicate support for Ye’s past beliefs. ‘I can separate the music from the artist because his music is great,’ said Aaron Queen, a fan who traveled from Washington, D.C.
Ye has been criticized for his antisemitic actions, including a 2022 social media post and releasing a song titled ‘Heil Hitler.’ However, in January, Ye took out a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal to apologize for his previous behavior, attributing his actions to a brain injury and bipolar disorder.
