Sophomore Tess Adamic delivered a volleyball version of a double‑double, recording 13 kills, 12 digs, five aces and two block assists. teammate Macy Barcelo matched Adamic’s 13 kills, while Sadie Green‑Sustaire led the defensive effort with a team‑high 19 digs. Setter Norah Hicks contributed 19 assists.

Earlier in the week the Raiders, now 8-11, were unable to extend their momentum in a 25-17, 25-22, 25-15 road loss at McKinney. Viky Vazquez led the McKinney offense with a .333 hitting percentage. Adamic tallied 11 kills for Wylie East, Barcelo added eight, and Zoey Williams chipped in six. Audrey Cravens recorded 11 assists, and Green‑Sustaire again posted a team‑high 11 digs.

Wylie East will close out non‑district play tonight at Tyler Legacy. The team’s next district contest is a home opener against Sachse at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the Williams Center, marking the start of District 6‑6A competition.
