Utep Football Begins Fall Camp

The UTEP Miners football team has begun fall camp, marking the start of their preparations for the upcoming season. The team, led by head coach Scotty Walden, opened camp with a Tuesday night practice at the Sun Bowl, followed by a morning practice on Wednesday.

Season Outlook

The Miners are looking to bounce back from a 2-10 record in the 2025 season. Coach Walden, entering his third season as head coach, will be looking to turn the program around. The team’s season opener is scheduled for September 4, when they will face off against #9 Oklahoma on the road.
