The poll, which surveyed 4,505 US adults nationwide, found that only 17% of respondents think the war will lead to more stability in the region, while 16% believe stability will remain the same. Additionally, 58% of Americans are concerned that gasoline prices will worsen due to the conflict.
The war, which began in late February, has already cost US taxpayers at least $37.5 billion, killed 18 US service members, and resulted in thousands of Iranian casualties. Despite this, only 35% of Americans approve of the war.
