Tropical Storm Arthur is tracking to move farther inland over southeastern Texas and southwestern Louisiana, bringing a risk of flooding and tornadoes to Alabama.
What Does This Mean for Alabama?
According to James Spann, Alabama Weather Network and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist, a few isolated tornadoes are possible over the southern half of the state tomorrow afternoon and early tomorrow night.
The Storm Prediction Center has a marginal risk in place for Thursday and Friday, with an influx of widespread rain that could be heavy at times, and flooding concerns along and south of I-20.
The Townsquare Media Weather Center will continue to track Arthur and the incoming weather conditions.
