Tragic Drowning Incident at Lake Lewisville Claims 48-Year-Old Man

A tragic incident unfolded at Lake Lewisville on Sunday evening, resulting in the drowning of a 48-year-old man. The Lewisville Fire Department and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department responded to an emergency call around 7 p.m. near Eagle Point Marina, where the man had fallen out of a boat.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was with his brother attempting to dock their boat when he fell into the water. Despite efforts to get back into the boat or reach the dock, he was unable to do so. The boat operator managed to drag him to shore before first responders arrived.
