Tony’s Pizzaria Surfer’s Point in Ventura, California, is celebrating its 67th anniversary. The pizzaria, known for its live music and dancing, has been a staple in the community since 1959.
A Legacy of Service
Owner Bruce Barrios expressed his gratitude to the community for their continued support. ‘So this is our 67th anniversary, my father opened it in 1959 and we are so excited to still be serving the community and we appreciate all the support and everybody who comes out to still see us at Tony’s Pizzaria, cheers to 67 years,’ said Barrios.
Customers can still order from the same take-out window, but the grounds have been improved to support live music and provide ample space for diners. The pizzaria recently hosted a hippie costume contest, with winners Robin Beccue and Carl Morehouse receiving gift cards based on audience applause.
